Smeg and Tegan - one day

Freezing cold day, and the hubs boiler decided to conk out again "shit! flipping heck its freezing".
Smeg entered the room with her dark blue bathrobe on, and flipped on the kettle that was hear her desk. Since Miss Kanto gave her a telling off for the last time she used her coffee machine, Smeg always made her own. All the same amount of sugar and coffee murmuring to her self a little song that she made up "sleeping in a coffee cup...".
Smeg thought to herself "hummm perhaps I should fix the heating...meant to be getting even worse tonight"
Making her way to where the heating looking at all of the different components "ummm...shit...this is gonna take a while"
Smeg said to herself whilst scratching the back of her head with a tear drop expression.

*some time later*

Smeg happily on the coutch with her coffee cup next to her, and reading a book. Tegan entered the room with her feathery bath robe on "morning captain...oooh its warm for a change".
Making her way to where Smeg is, and leaning her back next to Smegs chest "take it you fixed the boiler...finally what took you so long?".
"ermmm...yeah, I fixed it...kinda, just promise me you wont look in there?"
Smegs voice changed, and started to hide her face which was now engrossed into her book to change the subject.
Tegan saying in a curious manor "what did you do this time?"
Smeg hid in her book even more, trying to hind the expression on her face "I just fixed it...".
Smeg laughed to herself a little. Tegan noticed the duck tape on the table "tell me you didn’t fix it with that?"
Smeg peeked over her book and realized that she left the tape on the table, she tried to cover up her mistake, saying in a innocent accent "nooo..."
Tegan sighed, and turned around and took the book from Smeg "hey! I was reading that!".
Tegan pushed Smeg’s head back, and laughed playfully as she made a feeble attempt to try and get her book back from Tegan "besides what are you reading, you never read?"
Tegan looked at the title of the book that read 'Twilight'  "it figures...what’s it about anyways?".
Smeg looked a little lost for a moment, and then went all shiny eyed "awwww its like a romantic novel involving a young woman called Isabella Swan and she from Phoenix, to a little town called Forks, she goes to this new school, and later on she meets this man called Edward Cullen...who later on Bella finds out that he’s a vampire...and they fall in love...yeeeep! Its soo good..."
Smeg began to get a little high pitched and melted to the floor, then shutted herself up because she knew that she would sound daft, so she hid in her book more, and there’s Tegan laughing at she has never heard Smeg do that before, she carefully moved the book "so I take its a good book then?"
Laughing as she did towards Smeg, but all Smeg could do was nod and smile.
Tegan stood up and lingered over her "so looks like my little Smeg has a vampire fetish then?"
Smeg smirked, whilst Tegan gave her a hand of getting up off the floor "maybe?"
Chuckling as she started to wander off to her office, and asked Tegan "you got a vampire fetish though right?"
Tegan smirked and Stopped Smeg from making her way up the metal stairs "its a well known fact that I love vampires...think of it another fetish of mine".
Tegan made Smeg collapsed on the coutch, placing her book on the coffee table. Smeg was now pined down with Tegan on top of her "awwww common, that’s not fair!"
"What? You never gave me my morning kiss? Wandering out of bed and leaving me alone?"
Tegan smirking as she pressed her lips against Smeg's lips. Suddenly making Smeg turn bright red as she started to blush, causing her glasses to steam up from the heat "here let me get them"
Tegan removed Smegs glassed, and cleaned the frosted lenses on the captains spectacles making them clear she was about to put them back on Smeg till something caught her eye "wow, your eye's?"
"What’s wrong, they haven’t changed again...have they?"
Tegan sighed and laughed ever so slightly "no not at all beautiful".
Tegan placed Smegs spectacles back on her face, and adjusted them into position as she smiled warmly towards Smeg.

They both got up off the sofa, Tegan Making her way to where the workstations are, as Smeg made her way to where her office is "where you going?"
Tegan asked in a curious manor.
"urgh...I have piles of paper work, and a portfolio to do by Monday"
Smeg sighed and tried to make her way up the stairs, with Tegan holding Smeg from behind her "sounds more paper work and portfolios captain".
Smeg began to slouch, and look a little upset. Tegan could feel the captains pulse beat faster, breathing harder as she did "you ok Smeg?"

That was a question that Smeg dreaded to answer every time someone asked her that. All that she could do was pretend even though times are getting harder and harder, all she could do was smile and repeated the same lines over and over again "I'm not too bad hunny bear".
Tegan pulled Smeg back and nuzzled into her shoulder "can't lie to me Smeg, you know that by now...come'on you can tell me sweetheart?"    
Smeg grabbed Tegan's hand, as they made there way to the coutch, Tegan sat down first on the one side, whilst Smeg slouched and stretched out on the coutch, resting her head on Tegan's knee. Holding her arm in for a cutch as Smeg looked a little more paler than usual, Smeg kissed Tegan's hand and nuzzled into it "you really wanna know?"
Tegan brushed her hand through the red heads soft hair " yes, cause I hate seeing you like this, it breaks my heart".
Smeg rubbed and cutched Tegan's hand a little more " do you ever wonder what your doing half the time?...you know like in day to day life?"
Tegan looked a little lost "now and again, but I make the most of what days goes by, saving the world is what we do Smeg...but what's brought this on all of a sudden my little captain?"
Smeg sighed and began to snuggle into Tegan more "I don’t know, its like, am I going in the right direction? Am I doing the right things? Cause I feel like one big disappointment where ever I go...cause everything I do...I feel as if its for nothing...I feel as if I'm..."
Tegan held her a little closer "as if you’re what?"
Smegs eyes changed to a golden color, her pulse started to increase "I'm not myself lately...and I don’t know why...it’s just, I feel like a big disappointment...I'm nothing..."
Tegan interrupted Smeg for a moment "but you can never disappoint me Smeg, never, no matter what other people say, no matter what they do, my feelings will remain the same for you...you know that right?"
Smeg nuzzled and began to shed a tear. "I know that care bear, but have you ever wanted to stop time for just one day? So that you can stay in that moment to be with the one that you love?"
Tegan paused for a moment "all the time..."
Smeg looked towards her, Tegan smiled as she looked into her eyes; she always admired the glow that shimmered within her eyes. Even though Smeg thought that she wasn’t cured from her being a vampire. However Tegan would never mention about it in front of Smeg because she knew it would upset her so.
but Tegan continued whilst looking into Smegs eyes that mesmerized her so "...because I do miss the days that you aren’t here, either doing work or when your away...I just want to have you to myself for the whole day...cause it feels lonely without you."
Tegan began to cutch into Smeg even more, as Smeg shed another tear " you miss me when I not here?"
Tegan continued " yes, because I love you...an a day without you...is something that I cant bare...makes me a little upset..."
Smeg kissed Tegan's arm and cutched into her more "but I'm always here, not all the time, but I try, you know that?"
Tegan smirked and moved a little closer towards Smeg holding her closer than usual "but the way I see it is that, we make the most of now right? Make the most of our time together? Right ?"
Smeg sniffed and cheered up a little "oh and how do you plan on doing that then hun?"
Tegan smiled and moved Smeg really closer to her "well let’s dry those tears for starters".

Tegan moved Smegs head towards her direction, removed Smeg's glasses and started to kiss the little rain drops of tears from the captains eyes. "Please, Tegan I..."
Tegan placed her finger on Smeg's, firstly to silence her up, but trailed her finger across them. She said to Smeg with a calming tone to her voice "shhhh...it’s alright Smeg, just not another word my love".
Tegan trailed her fingers across them once more, holding Smeg's chin and pressed her lips to meet with Smeg's. Gently to begin with, playfully touching the skin of her lips and pulling away gently, whilst teasefully biting them, causing Smeg to resist the urge of biting back. Tegan then started to press harder towards Smeg as they were kissing. Flinging her arms over Smegs shoulders as the kiss became more intimate. Suddenly Smeg shot back because she was finding it hard to resist the urge to bite her "Tegan, I can’t...what if I bite you?"
Tegan chuckled and pinned Smeg down "there’s not a chance that your gonna bite me Smeg...besides I have an advantage”.
Smeg looked a little confused to begin with “Oh, an advantage you say?”

…(hahaha I’m gonna be mean and leave it at a cliff hanger lol)
